Sahifa al-Kamila, also known as Sahifa Sajjadiya or The Psalms of Islam, is a highly revered collection of supplications attributed to Imam Ali ibn al-Husayn Zayn al-Abidin (AS), the fourth Imam of Ahl al-Bayt. It is considered one of the most authentic and spiritually profound works in Islamic literature after the Holy Qur’an and Nahjul Balagha.
This blessed compilation contains over 50 duas that cover every dimension of a believer’s spiritual life—faith, worship, morality, repentance, gratitude, social conduct, and the relationship between a servant and Allah. The style of the duas is deeply eloquent, filled with humility, wisdom, and a powerful expression of devotion.
Often called the “Sister of the Qur’an” due to its spiritual depth and the “Injil of the Ahlul Bayt”, Sahifa al-Kamila not only teaches how to pray but also serves as a guide for building a noble character and understanding divine ethics. The duas reflect Imam Zayn al-Abidin’s unmatched patience and spiritual strength, especially after the tragedy of Karbala, where he emerged as the voice of truth and guidance.
Sahifa Sajjadiya continues to be a source of inspiration for Muslims worldwide, offering timeless lessons on sincerity, compassion, justice, and complete submission to Allah.
